      Pros

      Great coworkers and staff! Great nursing staff as well who perform great patient care!

      Cons

      Culture is old school with excessively paternalistic management. Lost most community physicians so locums are rampant. Most managers have little experience and without formal training - just fell into positions and are pressured to push, push, push vs encourage and mentor their staff.

      Safe campus, cafeteria has fairly good food for reasonable prices

      Cons

      Duke life point took over and it's going down hill fast. Understaffed, under paid, under appreciated. Upping patient to staff ratio while not hiring. When they do hire, orientation is very short,in the end the patients themselves are not safe due to staffing guidelines. Management makes new policies on a whim that are completely unrealistic. Benefits are awful.

      Pros

      Cafeteria food is pretty good. The location is pretty safe, but in a very run down & financially depressed area of the state.

      Cons

      Horrible health benefits. Poor management and they subscribe to the "good 'ol boys club". My department is disorganized and wastes time, money, & resources.
