The pay was great, however, the high cost of healthcare insurance with high deductibles and no HSA brought the pay down.

Cons

Management had no social skills and would email you instruction instead. And the instructions were usually vague so that they could scowl you for not doing the job correctly. The worst of all is they wanted you to become an electrician, mechanic and instrument tech. using online courses. I hope you are single because you'll work a lot of overtime.

Good pay. I was always treated fairly. The people at our plant were very professional and worked well together.

Cons

Not their problem but gas turbine power plants are dying in California.
