Company culture declining

Pros

Team solid, good people to work with. Direct supervisor listens and advocates for team decently well. Often work with great teams that are passionate about our clients and our work. Flexibility in my day-to-day schedule. Strong support on my team for work-life balance and finding time to decompress. Company resource groups encourage diversity, inclusion, professional development, and initiative and advocacy

Cons

Private equity overlords have made it clear that talent retention and company culture are not a priority. Many of our strongest team members were let go or have left. Benefits are shrinking. Some teams remain understaffed and apparently new employees are not in the budget. Initiatives have been massively scaled back or cut, but numbers in spreadsheet must still go up. Morale is notably muted.

Absolutely disastrous after private equity takeover

Business Outlook

Pros

-Decent amount of work in certain markets.

Cons

-Private equity ownership has completely changed the way the company operated and killed morale. -Terrible health benefits, below average PTO and, below average pay. -A lot of recent immoral if not illegal policy changes. In a cowardly way, some of them were snuck into the company policy instead of being announced via all-employee meetings. -Current employees have lost faith in legacy upper management. -The interim CEO from New Mountain Capital (private equity firm) doesn't even know what Consor does. How shameful is that?

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We recognize that changes in ownership and operations impact the employee experience, and this can be difficult to navigate. When policy updates occur, they are communicated through established internal channels and require acknowledgement to drive awareness, particularly during periods of change. Decisions related to structure, compensation, benefits, and policies are made with long-term sustainability in mind and evaluated against industry benchmarks so that we can continue supporting employees through meaningful work and long-term career development. This approach continues to guide how we operate as a firm. As we continue to grow together as a firm, we are here to make sure that all team members can see themselves growing with us—we encourage you to provide specific feedback to your HR partner, an HR leader, or through our anonymous feedback channel, AllVoices, anytime.
