This company used to have a great mission

Terrible turnover, bad hires, buddies and former military unfit for the job. Incompetency at the top. In the beginning I knew I was needed. In the end I had a target on my back every day. Countless finger pointing and blame games. No accountability. Never pay vendors. Finance department was a joke. It wasn't about your history with the company or about how well you did your job, it was about who you were good buddies with. Hypocrisy, nepotism, good old boy network and the Reston Elite run rampant.

Pros

Colleagues are bright and come from interesting backgrounds; a lot of former military folks on staff means a lot of great stories. Free gym in the building. Many opportunities to interface with your peers (holiday parties, lunches, etc.). Plus, I met some really notable people during my tenure.

Cons

Where to begin? Management is atrocious, 60-hour work weeks are the norm, the turnover rate is unlike anything I've ever seen, and staff seems to be tense and nervous virtually every second of every day (namely when management is in the building). The culture at Constellis could be the subject of a psychological case study.
