Pay is good Co-workers are experienced Depending on what union you belong to determines benefits (currently in addition to $26.09 hr you receive a $1.25hr towards 401k, and $4.41 hr towards Health & Welfare or 401k) Pay per hour is based on duty station State of Michigan ranges from $22-$26.00hr.

Cons

There are substantial amount of pay errors, have to monitor paystubs. After Inital Training, duty location post orders are vauge and is a learn as you go. Hours are sparatic depends on location can have 20 one week and 60 the next.
