Pros
work-life balance, you won't suffer any consequences from failing. No one really cares whether you work 35 or 42 hours.
Cons
bad mgmt (especially interlectually). Most of the mgmt. came into the position just by the time they spent in the company. very short term focused for the only benefit of shareholders (incl. mgmt via equity bonus), no drive or vision. best example of the slowly dying "old economy"
