      Pros

      The training program is generous and thorough. You work as an employee of Cook Systems, not as a contractor, so you get benefits and a salary, even between jobs.

      Cons

      Management is spread too thin to hear/address employee concerns effectively. Crowded work environment. Unclear corporate organization means employees have to treat everyone they meet as a superior, which is exhausting. The management doesn't pay enough attention to their employees to know when clients blame their poor organization & communication on Cook employees.

      We will take your view into consideration. There are very few customer commands that can be "shrugged off" though. We will make every attempt to pay close attention and protect our employees from unreasonable situations.

      Pros

      The training program taught current and relevant technologies, tools, and architectures that I now use everyday. Cook Systems actively searches to place you in a job. As someone who is brand new to the field and doesn't have a lot of experience or a great personal-professional network yet, this helped tremendously. All I had to do was pass the training and show up to the interviews. Cook took care of making the calls and setting things up. They also gave me plenty of interview coaching, which definitely helped.

      Been working for them for 8 months now, none yet Someone keeps leaving their old food in the fridge :)

      Pros

      Cook Systems is a FANTASTIC employer!! The CEO has met and had conversations with every one of his employees. Can your company say that? The employees here treat each other like family. As a true testament, we have several employees who have been here for nearly 20 years!! (Some, even longer!) The Software Developer opportunities are the real deal. If it sounds too good to be true, call and ask for the Manager of Technical Services. I will put you in touch with a current FastTrack"D employee who can tell you (full technical jargon included) how awesome his/her job is, and what a great future he/she sees in a career with Cook!!!

      Cons

      Our biggest obstacle is convincing folks that FastTrack'D isn't too good to be true and that Cook Systems is ALREADY bringing Software Development jobs back to the domestic worker... and our customers LOVE IT!!!
