Thanks for your post. I wanted to respond to your comment about there being no management training as we have been investing a fair amount in the training of managers, supervisors, and manager trainees and recognize that doing so is necessary to equip our managers with the tools to lead their teams. We do, however, empower employees to seek solutions as well. I'm sorry that you've decided to not recommend Copart and am unclear as to your particular situation due to the limited information provided in your post. Good benefits and diverse working conditions, and job security.

Cons

The needs to be a time period of training and not learn as you go. The amount of information needed is staggering and few seem to know the majority of their job details.

Copart, a Java centric shop needs to shed it's lackluster big dopey company image.

Pros

Good support from co-workers. Pays on time. Engineering management has there act somewhat together.

Cons

Commute not the best. Java centric shop so if you develop with something else you are on your own. Unrealistic project dates etc. Not invented here syndrome...
