      Pros

      Some of my favorite aspects about Copart is the culture! We support each other no matter what! There is friendly competition and you hit the ground running if you're in the IT department. Great leadership trickles down from the CTO to the IT managers its a wonderful enviorment where one is encouraged to be better than the day before. We treat the business as if its our own and our core values ROCK!

      Cons

      There are some silos in between departments, and some choices for leadership development are questionable

      the company is awesome yet politics play a huge roll in the length of your employment(you will have problems if you attempt to better yourself

      I can personally say my immediate supervisor made my job much more difficult then necessary, my supervisor was HORRIBLY verbally abusive at my yard to co-workers and even customers, it boggled my mind as to why the GM NEVER stepped in to correct the supervisors actions instead of sitting back and letting tempers flare and run its coares... all your hard work, staying late, coming in early, staying dedicated will mean nothing when you make the least little mistake. REMEMBER it's a business and not your family, I was employed there for years, I loved copart but I was let go got the mistake I made many others did as well, I guess race actually might do matters...I personally believe a class action suit is looming

      Pros

      I started as a title clerk, and now I am in management. Copart offers training in many different areas, and we are growing. There are so many opportunities all across the United States, and even in other countries.

      Cons

      There are non if you aren't lazy.
