IPO at all costs - soul-crushing killer of high performers

Pros

- The people working at the business unit levels are great even if a bit trauma bonded - Corporate has a couple of gems in the C-Suite even if surrounded by blind loyalists holding on to not get cut before the IPO payout

Cons

- Below industry pay at all levels for the size of business - Silent layoffs and restructures at least 1-2 times per year - People are stressed, and employee engagement scores are abysmal, even in groups with good leaders, because no one sees a career path or rewards and hasn't for years.

Pros

• Great culture and work hours • Strategic office location with access to transport hubs and major malls

Cons

• Stagnant career • Basic HMO benefits for single employees • Training and development is mostly focused on soft skills and there is no room for application of learnings • As an IT company, most of the roles only revolve in checking and updating data in systems.
