      Great job for independent workers, but lacks incentives.

      Pros

      You get to work remotely without a supervisor breathing down your neck. Vacation is usually easy to get approved. You get paid for drive time as well as per mile pay.

      Cons

      Low pay, very low for the amount of work that’s expected. Very against overtime which is strictly monitored. Poor communication from top to bottom. Poor recognition for great work.

      Bait and switch

      The pay was good The staff were nice enough

      The whole job was a bait and switch. I applied for a M-F role as a transportation manager. It was a decent raise from where I was in my career and the interviewers sold me what I wanted to hear. The job was nothing like described on the posting or interview. Instead I had to work Sunday-Thursday with most Fridays too. I was given 26 drivers all over the province and was responsible for everything from maintenance to scheduling and load planning. The department was supposed to have a planner/supervisor but it was never approved to be filled in my time there. I gave up a job I like for this lie, and I was working 50-60 hours a week easy. It took me a long time to recover from what I was put through at Coremark; so much so it took me a while to even write this review. In my 30 years in the workforce my time at Coremark was the worst I’ve ever had anywhere.

      Poor excuse for a job

      Pay was reasonable. could have been better

      Cons

      Everything was out of order they don’t care about the Driver they only care about the load getting finish. No set time to get off.
