Pros

if you stay by yourself and stay away from drama queens, you'll be alright here. Breakrooms okay, it's like a mini mart

Cons

phallic drawings, so many people with drama who sleep with each other, there's one big family who works there, if you get into it with one you'll be dealing with all of the others ones related. There's no need for supervisors, just go to hr or the guy in charge, supervisor are just babysitters probably because by law somebody "with authority " has to be there (and if its a super nobody cares about u could just blame him cuz the guys in charge don't back them up) Be a guy on cases pick. They don't do Anything But Pick and they get paid the most.

Pros

On a good day you'll go home feeling fulfilled about your job and the work you did. Depending on the territory you're in there will be chances for overtime. Mostly a relaxed start time (I.E start at 10:30 AM and end at 6:30 PM) that relies on when and where trucks start and end. Mostly simple work based around displaying products in coolers of AM/PM's and putting other items up around the store. Sometimes will have to remove or move around current items and put up new items. Company app where you order items is simple and easy to use. App for taking photos of displays is simple and easy to use as well. Infinite amount of chances to get personal level of communication and friendship with stores you work in on a regular route. Territory manager will usually take your side in situations and will help you with issues in any way they can, even if they are at office our outside of territory. It's a job where you're mostly by yourself and worry about yourself and the work you do, where nobody is watching you and barking orders.

Cons

You're working for far below what most other companies are paying merchandisers that it is actually insulting and will make you feel like a glorified retail employee. You're fellow coworkers and territory manager will say horrifically racist and insulting things in private or outside of earshot about some of the store owners workers because most of them are predominantly Indian or some other form of South Asian. There will be almost no chances of promotion or moving up in the company because of how people in this company, and industry as a whole, are power tripping children disguised as adults who have to be brown nosed and kissed up to incessantly before they'll even consider the idea of throwing you a bone to be a sales representative and then have more work and more of an insulting salary to balance it out. The way Core-Mark as a whole handled the Covid-19 pandemic was insulting and dangerous. Where as other essential businesses gave their employees extra pay, the supplies and gear to be protected when being outside, or make sure employees who happened to be unfortunate enough to get corona were covered, Core-Mark failed. There was no extra pay, the supplies were given once and then it was out of pocket from there on out, and if you were to contract corona you were told to use your own sick and vacation time to recover. Even after the warehouse was contaminated with Covid-19, they took 1 day to "sanitize" and then went right back to business as usual. The territory managers are mostly, as said before, power tripping children who think that stocking coolers and being paid $13.75 for it is like landing a man on the moon and will micromanage you about it because this is the only time in their life where they get to get years of pent up aggression and bullying in high school out of their system. If you give your personal number for contact, they will call you at the end of the day to complain about how you didn't order an item at a store at the beginning of the week or how you didn't send photos into the system. If you were trained one way in a territory and then come over to a different territory where things are done differently, you will be chastised and reprimanded for it immensely and treated like a disobedient dog despite the fact that it can't be your fault for territories having different ways of doing things or even KNOWING about it. They will go as far as to harass you via personal number and make thinly veiled insults because they know HR can't be bothered to actually do anything about it and don't care to.
