Pros

A lot of great coworkers and supervisors. They give a free meal from different food trucks once a month and a box of random free stuff on major holidays. Lines are set up for mostly effective function. Pretty good amount of paid days off including personal, vacation, sick, personal holiday and paid Holidays. Benefits start at 30 days.

Cons

Insurance premiums, deductibles, and copays are high. Some shelves are a little high for short people makes it difficult to keep up with the fast pace of the line. They track performance based on computer collected data that I don't feel is accurate. The collected info gives bonus pay for high performance of picking. But you have other duties that take time away from picking including your breaks that you can't log into that you're on break so that ends up making you seem like a slow picker according to the way the info is collected. When trying to talk to supervisors about it they say it's because you're too slow at your extra duties. The picker takes blame for missing items even though the tote containing the order goes through many hands after you before getting to the customer. I don't think that's fair. Who wants to know that they will take blame even if it possibly wasn't their fault/mistake/intentional doing. Supervisor just says someone has to take the blame. That affects your service level which affects your raise level. Raise times were not consistent. My yearly review was conducted about 6 months after my 1 year mark. You work long hours in the summer and short hours in the winter.
