Great company!

Pros

The people make the company, and there are great people at Core States. Leadership communicates transparently. The hybrid work culture allows for WFH while also having the local office to attend meetings or work with co-workers. Benefits are solid and HR was very helpful when I had a medical coverage question. The client list are all known brands and you gain great experience working on projects.

Cons

Workload and deadlines can be heavy, but it's not all the time. Prototype design work can be repetitive.

New Hire Support and Onboarding Excellence

Pros

Core States has an impressive onboarding support system. I started as a fully remote employee and each support department (accounting, IT, HR, marketing, etc) had reached out to me with resources and how-tos as well as 1:1 meetings to get to know the team. I've never felt as supported in my first few days at a new role than I have here. Any reservations I had about working fully remote have disappeared entirely.

Cons

I'm bummed I haven't yet met many colleagues in person, but I am fully remote, and know that opportunities to do so will arise.

Pros

Flexible work environment, lots of team happy hours and work-provided food/drinks, diverse project types over many sectors, ability to work with full AMEPSF Team.

Cons

New culture based on spreadsheets and tracking, unrealistic budgets and inexperienced junior staff, lack of resources, boring/repetitive roll-out projects.
