Pros

It is a top notch university with a small town feel. The name goes along way on your resume when applying for new jobs.

Cons

The city is very small, and a lot of residents regret having snobby Ivy league students in their town. Winters are a pain.

Pros

Cornell provides the opporutnity to engage and support efforts of future leaders (students) and current recognized leaders (academic and non-academic). There is also a sense of excitement being on a campus around students even if your job doesn't directly work with students.

Cons

Getting connected in the community however Cornell is trying to help address this moving forward. Winter can feel long some years however if you like seasons, Ithaca has great seasons and tends not to have earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes!
