Old School Environment

Business Outlook

Pros

Good training opportunities, good ERGs

Cons

HQ and majority of career opportunities are either overseas or in small town NY. company culture is old school and very traditional - "passive-aggressive" is a good term to use. too R&D focused - needs to focus more on becoming a stable mfg company since most divisions are losing money. salary is not competitive to market. minorities are rarely seen in management positions.

Pros

Various areas and positions to move to laterally and vertically. Expected to raise in ranks every couple of years.

Cons

Relationship between union force and operations can get tense.
