Pros

Corning is a well-organized, well run manufacturing company. From the brief glimpse I saw while employed there, I saw many hard working individuals whom deeply loved their jobs. Furthermore, projects are extremely well funded, engineers here see a lot of their work implemented.

Cons

Corning ebbs and flows with the tech markets information demands. The company usually cycles between layoffs and hiring frenzies, and there are many relics of this boom and bust cycle still readily apparent
