Pros

Great culture and approach to new technologies, highly recommended for research or engineering employees.

Cons

Constant head count reductions and quick to react when forecasts drop. Benefits are quite expensive for a company of this size.

A nice culture

Pros

Nice and caring culture, strong corporate values, long tenure, strong profits in niche industry, great place to work for experienced hired married employees, great senior leaders but middle management isn't as strong compared to others

Cons

Not many young people in the area and thus hard to have a social life, neighborhood is so quiet, concern about success of new products portfolio - will there be the next Gorilla Glass? Too making working sessions looking to build consensus which may not always be the best option at all times

Pros

Corning values; integrity, transparency, and valuing diversity Challenging roles Life changing inventions; fiber optics, environmental, and consumer value Great locations

Cons

Most locations are in small towns and not near large urban centers Many employees have long tenure so, it takes time for mid-career employees to settle in
