Pros

Corning is a collaborative decision-making culture. One must cross-sell oneself and the direct line of management is never solely responsible for the business, or your career. It is also a well -run financially oriented company that really has 6 individual units operating separately.

Cons

It takes a long time for Corning to act or change something. Open communication is lacking, as well as an openness & approach to individuals/organizations to cross-collaborate from remote locations. Corning still has the mindset that "one has to come into the office" as many roles are centered around "local office" locations.
