Pros

Very good company with people from diverse backgrounds. Plenty of opportunities to get your hands on different technologies and learn.

Cons

Sometimes there may be some bureaucracy involved. A good place to work and raise a family, location may not be ideal.

Pros

Great company and overall leadership. Great benefits and focus on relationships. Formed a lot of great relationships. Talented people work there. Work/life balance is a focus.

Cons

Not much room for advancement without extensive years of experience with company. Previous work experience not valued unless experience is gained at Corning. Largest division (OFC) wrought with leadership problems in manufacturing. Morale is low and people being mistreated and maligned. If leadership changes in that division, there will be great improvement.
