Pros

The company as a whole is great. Communication is a little on the slow side though. Called to speak to someone in HR at the main office in Corning, New York in September 2024 and no one has yet to get back in touch.

Cons

The plant in Newton, NC is the worst. It is dirty, lots of egos and some of the employees act superior to everyone because they "don't want excuses". The HR personnel from when I was employed and on disability are hateful.

Pros

Good pay Week off a month

Cons

-Extreme favoritism -Will promote unqualified employees based off diversity purposes -doesn’t hold everyone to the same company wide standard - only cares about company profits and not employees themselves - won’t let you use paid time off when you have covid unless they like you - losing profits via sales but staying afloat financially being gifted contracts by the USA government via “build American” when their business model is getting killed by Chinese competitors for way less cost -spent millions on robots that aren’t in use - not much job security, way too much turnover and mindset of we will just get someone else whose not qualified - hides inventory problems or backlog problems (caused from bottlenecks in production) from potential customers and investors including the United States secretary of commerce in 2024 and from the ceo Weeks, this ignores obvious flaws, that the secretary probably should have been aware of when making deals with American tax dollars. -They are also long term downsizing to bring in more robotics, to replace all there USA employees, undermining the long term value of “buy American”, that’s for jobs not American robots
