Started as a junior software developer. It is a great place to work especially if you are keen on learning new tech and like challenges. My journey started with developing and releasing less complicated supporting features before heading towards maintaining main stacks. I did not feel overwhelmed and had plenty of time to learn . As part of the job you also have to add some minor feature on legacy platforms, but mostly will be working on new tech. The stacks are well designed keeping software principles in mind , further supported by proper RFC validations and approvals. I found the majority of stacks very extensible. Every stage of software development lifecycle is respected. The architects and product managers are flexible given there are proper reasonings. There are plenty of proper documentation. Expect to have PR reviewed by multiple senior team members and be welcoming to the feedbacks and comments. Don’t be scared to be creative. Communication is paramount. The best thing it is okay if you miss the milestones occasionally given you did your best. The managers in dev teams were once senior engineers or devs so they understand and work together to improve productivity. Good work and life balance. No one expects to be working past 8 hrs. Good benefits. Overall it was a great experience.
Cons
On-boarding and providing essential resources to a new tech staff take fewer weeks.
