Pros
Some of the best reasons to work at Corvias is the pay and schedule. However I am hearing that conventional property management is stepping their game up and providing almost competitive pay. They're strict with OT so if you want a casual 8-5, this is the one for you. Conventional sometimes have longer hours and weekends. You will meet some people you don't mind working with. They are also likely always to be hiring at some point due to the turnover rate.
Cons
A major disadvantage of working with Corvias is the toxic work environment. It will be a roller coaster and have the potential to be an endless cycle of having hopes that the environment and work structure will be better, then be extremely disappointed when you're reminded that it won't. People falsely push out positivity, change, and growth, and may display it for a brief moment only to go back to unrealistic expectations from top to bottom. Each position has an unrealistic expectation of one person essentially doing a 2-person job. The numbers and what looks good on paper for the investors, big corporate, or their business partners have more significance for them than the quality of their employees. We are overworked and under-appreciated - no amount of money or raise can make it worth it. It will take over your entire life. You will bring work home and you will be thinking of work while you shower. The amount of stress they place on you is unhealthy. They expect you to do your job but also need you to fill in for others when they schedule poorly and become short staff. They will question why you're falling behind and talk about needing more accountability. I have never worked for a company who walk on eggshells around their employees, but blatantly have no regard for our well-being. It's a facade and it's not worth the stress. There is no work-life balance. They talk about need strong, quality employees but do not invest in better structure and training. Also low quality employees get away with doing barely the bare minimum. There will always be someone who does other people's jobs to try to make the office running smoothly and nothing is done about it. It is not fair. Depending on when you are hired and how dire the company needs employees, people who lack the work ethic to accurately and efficiently do their job, will be getting paid more than those who is highly qualified.
