The company cares very little for their employees, especially those who’ve dedicated many years to them.
Pros
If you’ve got a good team, the people you work with make this job. The hours are great considering it’s retail and the employee discount is definitely an added perk as are things like PTO, sick time and vacation days if there’s actually enough staff to be able to use them and you work enough hours to be eligible for these things.
Cons
There’s very little transparency with this company. Upper management keeps middle management in the dark. The upper management is generally very lazy when it comes to helping out their stores in times of crises by showing up and helping their teams out and instead would rather see managers and assistant managers work 7 days a week by themselves than actually get into the stores and work. The pay is absolutely awful and the raises, if you manage to get one, are laughable. The lack of products to sell customers is a joke especially when you consider that not only are many other private distributors able to attain them, but the online warehouse for Cosmoprof seems to be fully stocked more often than not.
