Pros

Work life balance. If you do a good job, and market yourself well, you'll get some opportunities You can stay here for a few years, have a good work-life balance, and take care of a family, and earn just about as much as you'd earn at other places that would slave-drive.

Cons

Sometimes you end up in a support role and thats the end of your work life balance. Your colleagues will still enjoy it and you have to watch. The work doesn't really satisfy at times. Place chock full of politics. You'll have to play the game,or know someone if you want to climb. Lots of cafeteria bitching and rumor mongering among employees. Rather low quality of people, technically, in a few teams in the tech side at Bangalore. The US teams at Westlake and Texas hold some kind of an unsaid grudge against their Bangalore counterparts, probably because they feel their colleagues got laid off because of them. Not really much cutting edge work. You stay here for 4-5 years and lose your edge. Pretty poor hikes, so you'll have to drive a hard bargain when you join, 'cause your salary's not gonna grow after that.

Pros

Wellbeing Allowance Half Day Fridays a couple of times a year Bravo Points (points to claim gift cards/items).

Cons

*Redundancies every year - just before Christmas! *To get any form of pay rise, the advice is that you should "apply for another job and if you get an offer, we'll see if we can match it" *Performance reviews in December mean nothing, you 'might' get a pay rise in July from it if you're lucky *Job scope continues to grow with no acknowledgement or compensation *Very siloed, people only care about themselves, and that "we've always done it this way" rather than bettering the business and fixing issues they see (likely because of all the redundancies, no one has capacity!) *Lots of lazy people get by doing not a lot - probably due to the size of the company, it's easy to hide.

Some times you have to work in overlaping hours with US team members but that is part of job.
