      Pros

      It is a 'means to an end'; a salary opposed to none; Building rapport with other co-workers can be a positive experience.

      Cons

      If management is present (which is not often) they are uninformed and ill-advised. They lack training in leadership and people skills. This is not an observation or preference in 'leadership styles', rather acknowledging that 'any' kind of leadership involvement was missing. As a result, unethical behavior and practices was rampant and practiced with abandon.

      -Interesting variety of projects, good technologies -Lots of friendly coworkers -Work/life balance if you know where to draw the line

      Cons

      -Way too much work. Expectations are way too high and resources too low -Lots of turnover -Pay is under market. As a developer, you can do better elsewhere. -Weak management
