Pros

The people that work there are fantastic - as far as other fleet managers, CSR's, planners - their funny and awesome personalities helped lighten the stress many of my days! The pay was decent with good benefits.

Cons

You do not get training. Their way of training is sitting you with people, that aren't certified to train at Covenant, and it's sink or swim from there. The company says they pride themselves on being a Christian company. Well, let me tell you something. That's the LAST thing I experienced in my time there. They do not give a rip about their employees. They overwork their employees. They will write you up for things that either 1) you've never been train on or 2) never been talked to about to know it's an issue. In my little over a year there, and this is not an exaggeration - in fact i'm probably not even counting all of them - I watched more than 12 humans either get fired or walk out. I watched 4 Leads be Demoted. I watched new people come in for training at LEAST 2 times a month. Then the company will turn around and preach to you about how we need to fix driver turnover. CLEARLY, while driver turnover is an issue, your IN HOUSE turnover is also an issue that needs some serious focus on. Not to mention, the title as a Fleet Manager might as well be "Glorified Secretary." That's what you are. They don't let you manage. They micro-manage you and every decision you make. There's no upward movement. Do not waste your time, unless you are desperate. The Leads are not Professional.

Just a driver ID

Pros

Great for start driving a big truck and get experience. Good for TEAM, worst for SOLOS.

Cons

You are only a driver ID. Bad comunications, lost time waiting for loads, trailers and answers. They never tell the truth, you have to check by yourself. I worked for Team 2 and they are more useless people I have seen, they made mistakes every time and I have to pay for that, loosing time, money and patience.

Pros

Good training, nice trucks, nice home terminal, nothing else to say nice about them at all,

Cons

They lie about everything, cheating the IRS, lying to the IRS, they are telling the IRS they have per diem pay, but they tell the drivers it's their hazmat bonus pay! And they force the drivers to have it for one year!
