Pros

- Elsewhere you got 1 shot with the agility test. Here they gave people several chances. I passed my first time but we had someone who failed so they let him stay and try the following week in which he passed. - Easy going staff (non drivers). - You get 3 hots and a cot paid for during orientation. - Get to travel the country. - Ok money to start. I had my hazmat already, so I was making 575 guaranteed which would have turned into 725 after first upgrade. - They have programs available to ex- military that allow them to make extra money while training. There is a con to this and I listed it below.

Cons

- If you come to the company with a fresh new DOT physical, guess what? You get to do it again. They will find a fault that null and voids your physical. I think this is dumb and waste of your money. - Maybe this is with all companies but we would get dispatched on phantom loads. I had over 3 with my trainer in my short time.We would arrive for the load and it wouldn't even be in their database. We would always get hung up at truck stops or at even at the terminal waiting for loads. - A lot of the trainers had thin patience. I remember someone sleeping in the terminal because they were afraid of their trainer. - My trainer would always threaten to quit and just walk away every time we got hung up on a load. I think he may have been a reason i quit so soon. - For 70 hours worth of work per week I made 575 dollars. I did the math and it is slave labor. -Con about GI Bill program (IMPACT)Be careful if you accept this program because they essentially buy out your entire remaining GI-BILL eligibility. They won't tell you that. I got lucky and discovered this and caught it before i received any money so i saved it. But just be aware with that impact program as they call it.

Pros

Flexibility, family atmosphere, safety conscious, safety culture is growing support from entire company not just driving population. Safety blitzes at outlying terminals

Cons

Reactive not proactive, needs to worry more about compensation and less about ping pong tables and video games. Good people are leaving for better salary opportunities
