Pros

Night shift was absolutely fabulous from the calmer atmosphere, closer knit group of co-workers to the incredible schedule of rotating 4 days on 3 days off and 3 days on 4 days off.

Cons

Sink or swim culture. Need to learn fast and hold your own with upset individuals from all fronts.

Pros

Pay is decent once permanent employee and coworkers are fun.

Cons

I was hired as a customer service representative through a staffing agency. This was a temp to perm position and there was promise of hiring full time after 3 months. Training was nonexistent and I wasn't given any direction on what I was supposed to be doing. I voiced my concerns but was told it would be OK and not to worry about it. After "training" I was put on the night shift working 13 hours through the night. The work was repetitive and menial. I was told I needed to work 13 hour shifts Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Many employees talked about their fears of being let go after the holiday because the company was known for over hiring during the season and then letting people go. The day after Christmas, I had a meeting with the director of the fleet managers about becoming a fleet manager. I had no interest in becoming a fleet manager so Covenant ended my assignment. I worked for them Christmas Eve and Christmas day, without any overtime pay, then was left to look for a new job when most companies were closed for the holiday.
