Pros

Good pay. Starts around $60k. Full remote

Cons

The training process for CoventBridge is akin to hazing. You will be deeply and scathingly criticized for every misstep you make, every question you ask, and for just plain not knowing everything yet, even though you are quite literally untrained. Growth is actively discouraged. Questions are left unaddressed and are only used against you in critiques or reviews. The negativity is unlike anything I have ever experienced before in my entire academic and professional career. Expect to be made to feel like you are invaluable and a waste of time.

Pros

If you've never worked for another investigation agency, it's an OKAY place to start. The pay is decent and paid for travel past 30 minutes but prepared to work 7 days a week to reach 40 hours.

Cons

Where to start.... -Maybe the worst employee care I've ever seen. Investigators are just names on a piece of paper, and they could care less about the individual. Worked here for nearly 6 years and was a top performer year after year which essentially means nothing. There is no one looking out for you, and when you get screwed over (which you will, consistently) you'll get told the same old response "company policy". -If you carry over PTO and don't use it in time...its gone. They won't pay you, won't warn you its expiring and won't work with you at all. -Be prepared to work 7 days a week if you want to get a full work week -A good friend of mine who was an employee for 15 years at the company passed away...not even a mention of it from the company, had to find out a week later when I called him and his wife told me...crazy. -Good luck getting to know people you "work" with seems like they intentionally try and prevent that from happening. -Only one possible pay increase a year with zero wiggle room, regardless of performance. Raises are minimal as well. -Virtually no path for advancement and this has driven away many good employees

Horrible Company

Pros

None to make it worthwhile to work there.

Cons

Everything about this company is horrible. I was hired as a Fraud Investigator and did nothing but data entry. Classic bait and switch. The mentoring and supervision leave a lot to be desired. They are supposed to teach you basic job skills for your position but are usually too busy to do so. However, you get chided on your weekly evaluation as a new-hire because you did not complete a task or did it poorly due to lack of direction. I lasted 3 months before I quit, was immediately kicked out of all systems to the point I couldn't even complete my timecard and was never given an exit interview.
