      Pros

      Flexible hours/ Ron ( NY manager) will work with you and remove a case if you can’t work it for a particular reason. Ron is very chill and reasonable. One of the best bosses I’ve had. You’re your own boss and no one yelling at you. You’re in your car alone. You can make executive decisions e.g. when to terminate mobile surveillance, what time should the next day start. You get a gas credit card, so you won’t be paying out of pocket for gas. You get $20 every month towards your internet bill.

      Cons

      When you pay for tolls, you get the money back but at the end of the year, you will pay taxes on the money you got back for tolls even though it was YOUR OWN MONEY. I don’t like the previous health insurance that they offered (United Healthcare). They have a new one so we will see. Lack of hours lately. I used to have a full schedule but that changed. Some investigators never have an issue getting 40+ hours per week so I guess it all depends. Getting a raise is very difficult.
