      My area went through a drastic downsizing which left us with a skelton crew with an enormous amount of work to get done. We lost headcount but the work did not go away!

      Pros

      Everyone is very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable in their respective fields. The company seems committed to slowly but surely replenishing and supplementing the workforce. People genuinely seem to like their jobs and working for the company.

      Cons

      There definitely a generation gap between experienced workers and new hires. It's almost as if the company had a hiring freeze for about 10-15 years. They now seem committed to making up for that.
