Pros

The family atmosphere is unmistakable and so prevalent during the onboarding process. The communication and transparency for such a large company is amazing and the overall efficiency is astounding.

Cons

Expectations, which is really not a con. When you work for a top company that takes care of its employees, high standards and productivity should be expected.

Not a good place to work

Pros

Nothing beyond any other company to highlight.

Cons

No opportunities for career growth, false advertisement of free education, and spending years with the company does not have any benefit in any way. Edit: I have reached out to management and HR and the request to cover school fees has been denied each time. It is ridiculous to fight a company that brags about billions of dollars in revenue to pay for a program that was advertised as no cost and the company told employees to sign up for. Bragging about revenue to employees & doing absolutely nothing to benefit them makes very clear this company does not care for its employees.

Hi there, thanks for sharing your feedback! While we're not sure of the details of your situation due to the limited info here, we want to be sure to address your concerns and offer some ideas for resolution. Cox is uniquely designed for career mobility, giving employees the opportunity to climb a career jungle gym, not just a corporate ladder. We encourage you to speak to your manager, mentor or department leader regarding the resources that are available to help you grow here. We're not certain of the educational benefits you're referring to, but here are some of the benefits you might experience as a Cox employee: tuition assistance and continuing education, certification opportunities, professional development opportunities, free courses, internal leadership programs and more. Again, speaking with your leader or mentor can help you find the resources that are available to you. Best of luck as you continue your career journey here!

Pros

*Welcoming, Inclusive Staff From day one, people go out of their way to greet, support, and guide you. Strong culture of belonging, every voice has value. Colleagues who genuinely care about each other’s success and well‑being. *Leaders Who Lead from the Front Leadership that is present, engaged, and accessible. Managers who roll up their sleeves, model the work, and set clear expectations. A culture where leaders earn trust by participating, not just directing. *An Awesome, Modern Campus Beautiful, well‑designed workspaces that make coming to work enjoyable. Collaborative layout that encourages teamwork and easy cross‑department connection. Plenty of amenities and comfortable spaces that support productivity and creativity.

Cons

I have not encountered any drawbacks in my time here. The environment, people, and leadership have all contributed to a positive, supportive, and growth‑oriented experience.
