Pros

Aspires to be a great place to work. Involved in the community. You get to work outdoors, independently in a fast paced environment.

Cons

Split shifts with only 1 weekend day off. 4 10 hour work schedule leads to long hours. Workload can easily exceed shift hours. Mentor program is more of a QA program, focus is on cleaning up prior techs mess instead of teaching, supporting and leveraging mentor experience and insight to avoid new hire mistakes. Too much work for a low starting wage. Grunt work!

Pros

From day 1 you are vested in the company. Cox offers amazing benefits and discounted cable is a huge plus. Flexible work hours. High paying sales position. Can make 6 figures no problem. Cox offers an amazing online training resource. When you have any free time, you can take advantage of Cox University, an online education resource.

Cons

Like most large corporations, its hard to get any innovation implemented with all the different levels of management. Don't expect to your sales job to be the same year to year. There are constant changes in the way we are paid and they make it harder each year to make more money or even the same. A lot of meetings. Accountability always falls on the sellers, everything.
