Pros

Cox is a solid company, and there are many catered events, and invitation-only cocktail parties each week, exclusively for full time employees. Pay is good, and there is no penny pinching over hours worked. Community involvement is commendable, and they maintain a visible presence in education, at Kennesaw State.

Cons

As a cable provider, Cox may begin to lose revenue as more and more customers are electing to receive content via the internet. Newer technologies are coming fast, and cable may well follow the demise, as Blockbuster did. If you are a contractor, be prepared to be treated like an outsider. You are not part of the Family. Not even the Pot Luck. Sit at your desk while all the other kids get to go on the field trip
