14 Years and Counting!

Pros

I have worked for Cox for 14 years in multiple job functions and in 4 different markets and have found the people I work with to be the best. Top performance is recognized and rewarded. Employees enduring hardships are cared for. As a people leader I am most proud of the fact that many of my employees have moved their way up the ladder as well.

Cons

Promotion from within a market is a challenge. There is a lot of longevity with many employees having been with the company for 5, 10, 20 and even 30 years. Cox has some very loyal employees and for good reason. I have been able to move up by having a willingness to move to different cities.

Pros

all the benefits at a very low cost plus vested pension. paid time off is gracious. no real cracking of the whip your ideas are important.

Cons

different ideas. I don't really see anything I would consider a con overall. the majority that quit seem to come back less than 6 months.
