family friendly employees don't seem to leave (could be a bad thing for some people) great discount great health benefits offers pension

Great place to work with really good benefits. Bonuses are great with flexible work schedules.

Traffic Stinks getting to work.

Pros

Cox is very employee oriented which is good from one standpoint and bad from others. There is a definite culture that makes managing tougher than other places. Compensation is fair, but seems to get worse every year. Local management is pretty competent and consistent, national leadership, less so.

Cons

It is a high pressure environment, there is always pressure for the numbers. Sometimes the compensation is not commiserate with the pressure. Cox Business is to reliant on the cable part of the house for getting installs built in a timely manner.
