      Trainer was nice, discount was cool

      Cons

      Pay was $16 an hour while McDonalds was paying $14. You make less than 1% on the commission of selling products to irate people. If a bug is discovered where you make anything approaching decent money they kill it. Predatory behavior, awful service quality, absurd level of micro-management, inane DOS-based system run on an emulator. The training teaches you next to nothing on how to actually fix anything. Mostly just how to sell products.

      Pros

      I thought this was a great company. I was anxious to get started and contribute, but immediately I found I was not welcome at Cox Business Phoenix, AZ.

      Cons

      A very rocky road at Cox Business Phoenix, AZ - This was not really an SE position which was in a good alignment with Sales. You will be reporting up to Maintenance and Support. So, the SE in Phoenix is more involved with post sales issues with installs, outages, break-fix (80%) instead of working with Sales to co-create technical solutions for their customers (10%). Consequently, they have many post-sale issues with their technologies and solutions. Many folk were leaving the organization when I arrived.

      EVERYTHING! This is a backwoods good old county boy click is a company based out of Georgia. Family and CULTure is about profit for the Cox family. Do NOT work here!
