The hours are ridiculous and not possible for a person with children.

Hi. Our values and our people drive our success, for sure! And the company’s leaders take seriously their responsibility to build a better future for the next generation, and sometimes that requires additional thought and consensus to make sure the strategy is sound. That approach has led to strong business growth for the company as our revenue last year reached $20 billion. Thank you for the time you took to share a review, and for being a valued employee for more than 10 years.

Pros

Decent benefits, decent pay, reasonable work/life balance

Cons

Everything is situational and you are constantly having to redefine what is correct for any given situation. The company isn't "policy" driven and never will be from what I've been told by HR and management. If you like structure and stability CEI is not for you. Also ego's are fragile in middle management and saying anything but yes to the wrong person can blacklist you from moving up.

Hi, and thanks for your review. At Cox Enterprises, we have many policies in place that provide structure and guidelines, but in many instances as well, we offer flexibility for managers and employees to make the right decisions in any given situation that they face. Many of our employees value that freedom and trust. We appreciate your candid feedback and thank you for your review.
