Pros

Cox is such a great place to work! Being in HR, I'm able to see how and why decisions are made behind the scenes. Decisions at Cox are always guided by what's best for our employees and their families, the environment and the communities we serve. I've seen it play out time and time again when difficult decisions have to be made and it's absolutely refreshing.

Cons

Because of the way we're structured, it can be difficult and time consuming to get things done, but once we get to the finish line, the end product is great.

Pros

Excellent work/life balance Excellent benefits Interesting Work Supportive Leadership (although, that can depend on your department/team) Abundant learning opportunities Internal mobility

Cons

There are cons with any place you work; the biggest change for me when I came to work at Cox was the pace at which decisions are made. Due to the many entities Cox has (Cox Communications, Cox Automotive) it can take a long time to come to an enterprise decision (where needed). Even decision making and alignment in one department in one entity can take a long time. Everyone's input is listened to and evaluated, which can be frustrating at times when you are seeking to quickly roll out a project or initiative.
