Coyne & Associates Response

From CEO, Len Levin, Ph.D., BCBA-D At C&A, we have a culture of honest and direct feedback; I hope that you have raised your concerns with either your direct supervisor or a member of the executive team so that together, you and management can work to increase your job satisfaction. I love my job and I want all employees at Coyne to love their positions as well. We were awarded the 2017 Top Workplace recognition by the San Diego Union Tribune via extensive employee survey; we dedicate a significant amount of resources to staff development and to a performance management system that emphasizes coaching and positive reinforcement; and we offer a variety of bonus plans that, for example, enable supervisors to earn an additional 12 days paid time off each year in addition to the 2-3 weeks automatically allotted. I consider all feedback carefully, know that I/we can always do better for our staff, and am continually focused on making improvements so that we can achieve our mission to be a model of excellence in early intervention service delivery. I would welcome the opportunity to correspond with you directly so your feedback can have maximum impact on organizational change.

Pros

Coyne is a very professional company. Highly respected in the community. You get to make a difference in children's lives. Len did a great job communicating with employees through the COVID process. (He is a great leader)

Cons

Every part of your job is micro-managed. Once you learn how to do one thing well, it's on the next thing you need to work on. Little room for celebration. Always wanting you to exceed expectations. It feels like a never ending uphill battle that you will never reach the top.

Pros

Best training in the industry. Supportive staff that is willing to work with your schedule. Adequate benefits and getting better. Full rate payment between clients. $.50 per mile between clients

Cons

A LOT of driving. Schedules can be hectic. Some weeks you'll have 40 hours, others you'll have 25 due to client cancellations. The job is extremely stressful and very physical. You'll be walking on your knees and sitting on the floor for most of your day. Management is very strict.
