Middle management like District Managers and General Managers not very caring. Benefits not very good, as fast food offers more. Cracker Barrel becomes your life, and you are suppose to put work before family. DM's continually says be thankful you have a job, as they really don't care about much but the fact they employ you so you should be thankful for that.

The policies are a bit dated, and not only that only seem to apply to certain people. Some managers often dont know what they are doing and cause more stress in a situation than help. This is the only retail enviroment I've been in where they tell you to take items off the floor and put them in the stock room... you can't sell something that isnt on the sales floor.
