It seemed that the initiative that they brought me into help build had a bad foundation. They were not willing to invest enough resources to be successful. High salesperson turnover caused chaos for the Pre-Sales SEs

Pros

Friendly people, almost all of whom will help you with anything you need.

Cons

Long hours, 60+ per week minimum. Vacation not a guaranteed benefit - take it when/if you can get time away from projects. No training. Bonus is a joke given the hours required to work. Actual job is in no way representative of what was described before accepting the position. Travel is continuous.

Interesting work on cutting edge hardware. Flexible working hours. Vacation time is reasonable although entirely off the books.

Cons

Minimal match for 401K contributions Bonuses are random in that they may have nothing to do with what you do. Extreme effort on you part does not mean you get a bonus. When bonuses are paid by the company, extra effort does not mean that you get a larger bonus. Since vacation is off the books, you are NOT paid for unused vacation.
