Pros

They work to create a positive environment for all employees at all levels of the organization in a difficult market. Bobby is a dynamic leader that seems to remember everyone's name in the company and take time to listen to them.

Cons

At times there are mixed messages from leadership

Pros

It's a job. That's it.

Cons

Full time with this company is considered 32 hours in Florida and many employees never see more than 32 hours in a week. Hourly wage begins at $8.00 / hour for anyone starting a new job, no negotiation possible. Paychecks are on a 2 week basis and in order to be paid for overtime you must first reach 80 hours. Time over 40 hours in 1 week is not considered Overtime pay. Beware of job postings. Original job postings can disappear by the time you are hired and if you actually NEED a job like many people do you'll be stuck with whatever they give you with whatever hours they schedule you for. Management has no trust of it's employees and constantly spies upon them to try and find anything to write them up over or get them suspended or fired. Management also puts up with sub-par work and sub-par workers who either neglect their duties or outright do not do their job in it's entirety. Even when presented with a worker who does their job and does it well and aspires to advance within the company, the Management makes no effort to assist the employee or help them to advance. Management hires new employees for new positions but fails to offers those positions to existing employees with more seniority, often times coming up with excuses and or lies as to why current employees where either not informed or not eligible for new hiring positions. Management often misplaces important employee documents such as time off and vacation requests as well as not properly documenting shifts that were worked by employees resulting in paychecks with missing hours. When inquired about, Management insists it is the employees fault and not an error on their end. EVS policies are not followed by the majority of EVS Technicians leading to unsafe working conditions as well as unsafe conditions for PATIENTS at facilities. When these unsafe practices are pointed out to management, offending workers are not written up or suspended or fired. No repercussions are suffered if employees are actually caught not following proper policies and procedures. Respect from employees of the facility where Crothall employees work is non-existent. Nurses, PCAs, Doctors and Hospital Administrators all look down upon Housekeepers and EVS Technicians as if we are bottom-feeders. Disrespect is rampant as well as outright insults and lies. If you need a job....NOW...then this is the place for you. They hire anyone even if you have no skills and cannot even speak properly in ANY language. If you want RESPECT, trust, the possibility for advancement and a safe working environment...Look elsewhere.
