Pros

Colleagues are friendly and generally helpful.

Cons

CS won't pay for time off to take exams they ask you to do but will fly sales teams across the planet for junkets in Las Vegas. Wouldn't provide the parental leave they are legally obliged to. Bit of a cultish environment. A lot of management are ex-police and ex-defence forces and the management style reflects this. Remote-only role means learning from others and getting involved in conversations more difficult. They only provide Macs which most people seem to hate. Internal tools generally have poor and confusing GUIs and staff are not trained sufficiently on them. Felt like a bit of a sweat shop.

Pros

CrowdStrike is filled with intelligent engineers. It’s one of the most sophisticated distributed systems I’ve had the pleasure of working on and the scale is fascinating to build around. Management is very proactive about growth and development and there are endless opportunities to learn and tackle interesting problems. Teams collaborate well and work together to solve problems.

Cons

CrowdStrike is at the forefront of its domain and that comes with pressure to maintain that position. The workload can feel heavy but I believe that’s to be expected at the momentum CrowdStrike is moving.

Pros

Great culture, with some of the brightest minds in the industry. The product is also excellent

Cons

Salary is on the lower end of the spectrum and product is not the easiest to sell due to high prices.
