Management is the biggest issue

Pros

Coworkers are all helpful. The teams do tend to help each other out to support the role. They do give you the resources you need to get the job done. A big pro is I learned what not to do as a manager.

Cons

Management is a mess. I was promoted without extra pay, then demoted back to my original position. I was then offered the promotion again. They then gave me 6 months of silence on the promotion. I eventually declined and left the company. Management lies about everything here. They take way too much time off. They have no real interest in their employees’ goals or success, well being, and day to day tasks. They also ask way too much of you and it doesn’t even matter if you do what they ask since they’re not even around to check on you.

Pros

Worked there for over 3 years and met some wonderful people along the way. Some of the smartest people I ever worked with.

Cons

Management seems to be oblivious about some of the internal personnel problems and are very self absorbed in their "world domination." There are a lot of unhappy people at the company, and management doesn't care.

Pros

Great investors, brilliant engineering team, hot industry, excellent product brand, high profile company with a lot of media darlings and attention since the DNC hack.

Cons

Lots of recent turnover in mid-level leadership and the product management including CPO is almost completely turned over. Too many people trying to lead the direction and strategy in multiple directions. No focus unless something in on fire. Profit-oriented decisions could cripple future growth and scalability. Bonuses, equity packages, and benefits are subpar for the industry for a startup with several rounds of funding.
