Pros

Sometimes you make a decision and you immediately regret it. Like eating that last piece of pizza, or choosing to go down a double black diamond. Other times, you make a decision and you have no other choice but to pat yourself on the back. I'm a few months in at CrowdStrike and tonight I took a moment to pause and give myself that pat on the back. What a difference this place is from my last company. The excitement levels, the leadership, THE TALENT, the expertise, the effort and passion... it's rejuvenating. I have never had more confidence in the direction a company was headed. Even with all of the things I have mentioned, in the end, a company can only go as far as the product will allow. All it takes is a quick Google search and you will find endless amounts of third party validation, including a $100 million round of founding led by Google Ventures, its first security related investment. The product is the real deal, the leadership is the real deal, and the company is filled with some of the most knowledgeable and talented people in the industry.

Cons

Because the company is only in year 4, there are a few things systematically that need work, but this could actually be looked at as a pro depending on what type of person you are. It's not for everyone, but I find it exciting to be a part of a growing company where my voice is heard and my opinions and ideas matter.

Pros

Great work/life balance, very good benefits, competitive salary, well-funded start-up (3yrs old), several office locations and the ability to work remotely as needed.

Cons

The company is still maturing so it can sometimes be difficult to know who to go to for what or where to find things, documents, etc. They need a company intranet site.

Pros

CrowdStrike is growing incredibly fast, and doing it the right way. I've worked for multiple companies in the cybersecurity industry and I can say without a doubt that it’s the best I’ve been at so far (And I’m not easily impressed). The leadership team is excellent – they really know the industry and seem very transparent, honest and reasonable. The company is investing heavily in the ‘people’ organization and I feel it paying off – there are already very good benefits and I see that only getting better. We’re hiring smart, hardworking people that are contributing fast. The product/services set is great and anyone in sales/marketing/engineering can be confident they are building and selling a useful & valuable solution that really works (in this industry that is harder than you’d think).

Cons

I honestly haven’t seen many cons. The company is still young so not every process is flowing 100% perfectly, but again, everything is going in the right direction and people are honest about what needs to be improved. At the pace we’re growing there are bound to be some occasional bumps, but I really haven’t seen anything yet.
