Beware of CREV.

Pros

Built lasting relationships with co-workers. Volunteer opportunities available (if your industry partner allows you to participate). Occasional happy hours to help you forget how much these people screw you over on a daily basis.

Cons

Busy season was a year-round event in the Columbus office. You will be expected to work over 70 hours a week. Blame is always pushed down to the lowest level. Seniors & managers constantly fail their staff because they are afraid to "step out of line" and speak up for them. The environment is toxic, to say the least. During my time at Crowe, nearly 30 people were turned over. Recognition is few and far between. Once your in the dog house, you will stay there until you eventually leave or fired. Staff can barely support the client workload and probably 50% of work is outsourced to different offices. Partners continue to sell knowing they can't retain staff. Promotions in CREV will not happen unless you devote 100% of your time to client work. You will be tested on a daily basis and feel like your walking on eggshells.

Pros

Office is new and comfortable

Cons

This company make you work at least 60 hours a week, even in the summer. I started as an intern and made the mistake of working here. During busy times, you are expected to work at least 13 hours a day seven days a week. There is no life work balance. The managers don't care because they have no life outside of work and the partners only care about money. I was underpaid and overworked.

Pros

Working remotely is sometimes possible.

Cons

The company has been laying off people in batches on and off since 2016. Will lay off without regards to history at the firm or performance. Then turns around and hires a ton of interns and college new hires. Do not recommend.
