      Just a stepping stone

      Pros

      Some of the people are great. Clients were good and had a lot of exposure to them. It's a good paycheck for starting out of school.

      Cons

      A lot of bad people. Tons of politics. pay is below average for hours that are above average. They don't listen to the people actually doing the work i.e. new computer system is garbage and if you say something bad about it you get yelled at. Mangers and partners are useless resources for anything. Seemed more focused on dress policy that actual work.

      Pros

      1.) Huge changes to benefits over the last 12 months. The "work where you want," jeans in the office, and parental leave are putting Crowe at the cutting edge of public accounting firms in their size. 2.) Great career advancement opportunities even in small markets.

      Cons

      1.) Management had missed the mark on new audit software and other job optimizations that are actually making the work harder. 2.) Firm does a poor job of communicating negative things that are going on in the Firm and how they impact employees.

      Great alternative to the Big Four

      Pros

      Opportunities for advancement, traveling (if you life to travel), very collaborative environment, pay is competitive compared to other big four accounting firms for Staff roles,

      Cons

      The turnover is high just like most accounting firms so their aren't a lot of managers. Crowe mainly serves the financial services industry so expect receive little to no experience in non-financial industries (manufacturing, technology, government, etc.)
