Pros

- Work Life Balance: Partners do a good job of considering work life balance of team when taking on new projects. - Flexibility: Ability to work remotely as needed. - Culture: Relaxed office culture (jeans everyday) with humble people

Cons

- Lack of Clear Strategy: Strategic direction of healthcare practice changed frequently, and partners often contradicted one another when asked about strategy. If you are not aware of the goal, it is difficult to achieve it. - Frequent Organizational Changes: In my tenure, the organizational chart changed on average once every six months. Communication of new roles and responsibilities with the latest org chart was lacking. The current organizational chart essentially removed individual partner sales goals, which I expect to negatively impact sales growth. - Rewarding Performance: Management values compliance and those who are happy to do exactly as they say. Attempting to improve current processes or respectfully challenge the status quo is often considered insubordination. Leadership roles were given to employees that complied with management. Bonuses were incredibly low and did not fluctuate with performance. - Heavy Reliance on Dated Technology: Healthcare is heavily centered around a technology that has not been rebuilt in over ten years.

Pros

- Crowe as a whole may be a good company - Benefits are good - Remote work was around before Covid-19, and it's been a game changer - Great place to be micro-managed - Front row seats to watch your engineering skills **** off and die

Cons

- Applied Technology (AT) is filled with management that is toxic, incompetent, entirely incapable of utilizing any skilled people they acquire - Crowe is not a tech company. As an employee, know that somewhere up the chain of command is a slew of accounting and tax people ready to shoot down or vastly undercut your grand application of tech to this industry - Engineers at university, do NOT fall for their grandiose claims during recruiting. They recruit youth solely because they can drive them and pay them less. They give zero ***** about your career. There are plenty of other tech companies who will treat you the same, but at least you'll gain far more knowledge, better experience and better habits. The grind at Crowe's AT is not worth it at all. - Crowe attempts to value people, but their policies are undermined by the terrible people they have in management at AT. - Big layoffs multiple years in a row now. Their tech efforts are failing. They aren't hiring heavily because of growth but because of turnover and layoffs. They used Covid-19 as an opportunity to axe a lot of people.
